Salgirah — Terms of Use

Last updated: August 23, 2026

The service

Salgirah is a free app for tracking family birthdays on both the Gregorian and Misri (Fatimid Hijri) calendars. It is provided by an independent developer, currently as pre-release software: features may change, and the service may be interrupted or discontinued.

Your content

You are responsible for the information you add. Only add other people's details (names, birthdays, photos) with their knowledge and consent, and only invite people to a circle who should see what that circle contains. Your content remains yours; you grant us only the rights needed to store it and show it to you and to the circle members you share it with.

Acceptable use

Don't use Salgirah to harass anyone, to store content unrelated to its purpose, or to attempt to access data that isn't yours.

Calendar accuracy

Misri dates are computed with the Fatimid tabular calendar and validated against published community calendars. They are provided in good faith for family reminders; for religious observances, follow your local jamaat's official calendar.

Warranty and liability

The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the app, including missed reminders or data loss. Where the app is distributed through Apple's App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.

Termination

You can stop using Salgirah and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
